Despite weak construction spending statewide, the Palm Beach Post noted that Palm Beach Gardens is undergoing a bevy of development.

The city has approved or has plans for about 800 homes, a new headquarters for Florida Power & Light, a $15 million Jewish Community Center, a four-story campus for Nova Southeastern University that opened last month and a 2000-bed hospital called Tenant Healthcare.

While the projects are in various stages of development, the trend is evident.

“People hear doom and despair all day long and that’s what they believe. But there are good, quality developments in the pipeline that will bring jobs,” said Ed Chase, president of the Northern Palm Beach County Chamber of Commerce. [Palm Beach Post]
