Palm Beach zoning plan draws opposition

A proposal by the Testa family to rezone Palm Beach’s Royal Poinciana
Way
to allow for taller buildings has drawn opposition, according to the
Palm Beach Daily News. “I do not agree that the entire block of Royal
Poinciana Way must be torn down and rebuilt with up to three, four
stories of condos in an attempt to financially assist the property
owners on [the street],” said the Neighborhood Alliance of Palm Beach in
a memorandum. The proposal is slated to go before the Town Council at
its meeting Jan. 11. [Palm
