Coconut Creek to get first hotel

Morlin Hospitality has acquired a 2.5-acre site in Coconut Creek to build a limited-service “flag” hotel, the first such development in the city. The 107-room hotel, which will have between five and seven stories, will be located near the intersection of the Sawgrass Expressway and SR-7. “A site analysis provided us with information that there is significant demand in the area, which is largely underserved,” said Morlin President Seth Fellman. The company is currently in talks for brand placement at the site. — Alexander Britell
