Delano opens new sushi bar

The Delano hotel in South Beach has opened the final portion of its redevelopment, Umi Sushi & Sake Bar, Eater reported. The restaurant, which follows the opening of lounge FDR and eatery BIANCA, is helmed by Chef Toshi Motoyama, who has previously worked at Miami restaurants Zuma and Makoto. The Delano unveiled $10 million in renovations in December. “It’s really about taking something that’s classic and reinvigorating it,” Morgans Hotel Group CEO Michael Gross said at the time. [Eater]
