Miami’s BrickellHouse project opens “sales gallery” on Brickell Avenue

New Miami condominium project BrickellHouse has opened the first standalone sales center downtown since the condo boom at 1451 Brickell Avenue. The facility, which opened today, includes model kitchens and bathrooms of the planned 374-unit project.

The Newgard development has around 20 units remaining that are not under reservation, according to Cervera Real Estate, which is marketing the property. “We thought it was very important to create a sales center, even though a lot of people don’t think we need it,” said Newgard Founder Harvey Hernandez.

“I think it’s a statement of the change that the city has taken, that market has taken, and that we’re showing exactly what we’re going to build.” BrickellHouse was among the first new Miami condos to officially launch sales upon its debut in November 2011.

The center “sets a standard for the market that, if you’re going to do it, you’re going to do it right — because that’s how we do things in Miami,” said Cervera managing partner Alicia Cervera Lamadrid. — Alexander Britell
