Blood bank pays $10 million for Fort Lauderdale office building

Blood bank OneBlood has paid $9.8 million for a 75,000-square-foot office building in Fort Lauderdale, according to Colliers International South Florida. The buyer was represented by Colliers’ Michael Fay and John Crotty. The seller, the Florida Department of Financial Services, was represented by Colliers’ Robert Listokin and Sal Bonsignore. It was an all-cash transaction for the property, which is located at 3000 West Cypress Creek Road. OneBlood, a consolidation of blood groups around the state, will occupy the entire building, which will be renamed the BloodBank of Florida. — Alexander Britell
