A 75-acre site in Loxahatchee Groves has been sold for $4.5 million, according to the South Florida Business Journal. The site was purchased by Palm Beach State College, which plans to develop a new campus there. The seller was the Simon Family Trust. “Acquiring the property has been an extensive process, but the ultimate result will be significant,” said Palm Beach State College President Dennis Gallon. “We envision this land becoming a vibrant, valuable center of higher education for this year.” [SFBJ]
