Development is now complete on the Max Planck Florida Institute for Neuroscience, according to Jones Lang LaSalle, which served as program manager for the 100,000-square-foot project, the first U.S.-based institute of the Max Planck Society. The project, which was largely funded by the State of Florida and Palm Beach County, received $180 million in public funding, including $66 million for construction. JLL oversaw development and construction. The building, which was designed by ZGF Architects, has received LEED Gold certification. The Weitz Company and DPR Construction partnered as construction managers. — Alexander Britell
