Turbopower signs $20M lease in Opa-locka

Turbopower has agreed to move its headquarters from Miami Lakes to Opa-locka in a $20 million transaction.

The aircraft engine service provider signed a 15-year lease to relocate to AVE Aviation & Commerce Center at Opa-locka Executive Airport, South Florida Business Journal reported. AVE developer Cpf Investment Group is building a 100,000-square-foot facility for Turbopower at the 178-acre business park. Construction is scheduled to begin during the first quarter of 2014.

Turbopower joins a growing roster of tenants at AVE including Goodyear, Banyan Air Services, Kinetic Concepts and the U.S. Postal Service.
