JAN Holdings is the buyer of the five-bedroom, six-bathroom mansion. The New York company is managed by James Goldrick of KKR Financial Services.

The Addison Mizner-designed house is known in the town as El Castillo, according to the Palm Beach Daily News. It won a Ballinger Award for historic preservation four years ago.

El Castillo is the second-most expensive home to be sold in 2014, behind the nearly $29 million sale of 445 Antigua Lane earlier this month. — Eric Kalis
