Nursing school signs lease for Doral campus

A California-based nursing school has signed a lease to open a campus in Doral.

West Coast University finalized a 45,000-square-foot lease at 9250 Doral, according to real estate firm Taylor & Mathis of Florida, which represented landlord Delma Properties. The health sciences university opened its first Southeast campus at the 9250 Northwest 36th Street facility last month. The lease is valued at $13.5 million.

The Doral facility was previously a single-tenant building occupied by Amadeus North America, which moved out two years ago. Delma recently completed an expensive renovation to convert it to a multi-tenant building.
