After completing a $10 million renovation, the Waterstone Resort & Marina in Boca Raton – formerly the Bridge Hotel – is set to open in just a few days. The 139-room hotel is now managed by Spire Hospitality, which is owned by AWH Partners. The renovation added a 270-foot wraparound seawall, dock and restaurant to the property, according to the South Florida Business Journal.

Other upgrades include a beach shuttle; an app for the resort’s room service, car service and dinner reservations; and an executive boardroom. On the 4,650-square-foot penthouse level, Waterstone will now be able to hold events like weddings and Bat Mitzvahs.

“You have the stone which displaces water, and you have the water, which in turn breaks down the stone, so there’s always a duality of opposites,” majority owner Matt Lane said of the hotel’s new name. “Throughout the entire hotel, everything brings you back to the water.” [SFBJ] Christopher Cameron
