Conrad Hilton’s beached boathouse asks $6.25M
The Chris Craft has hosted Presidents Truman and Bush Sr.
From the South Florida site: A boathouse custom built for hotel baron Conrad Hilton in the Keys has hit the market asking $6.25 million.
The 60-foot Chris Craft was beached in 1960 when Hurricane Donna carried the boat up onto US1. It was then rolled on telephone poles to its current location at 101 Carroll Street, Islamorada, according to Curbed.
Over the years the boat has played host to Presidents Truman and Bush Sr. It features a main level cabin, bunk beds, and 5.24 acres of land with 300 feet of oceanfront. [Curbed] –Christopher Cameron
