Fort Lauderdale’s il Lugano hotel on the Intracoastal Waterway has sold for $21.6 million.
The 104-suite hotel was bought by Claremont Ft. Lauderdale Suites LLC, attorney Barry Lapides, a Miami-based partner with Berger Singerman who represented the seller, told the Sun-Sentinel.
The property, located at 3333 NE 32nd Avenue, opened in 2008 and was intended to function as a condo-hotel, but was never able to complete the condo portion.
The building’s amenities include a fitness center, heated waterfront swimming pool and on-site restaurant, da Campo Osteria. [Sun-Sentinel] – Christopher Cameron
