A new Buffalo Wild Wings is opening in Boynton Beach, despite some minor real estate difficulties.

The Minneapolis-based sports bar chain was looking at the former Pete Rose Ballpark Cafe next to the Courtyard Marriott on Congress Avenue near the Boynton Beach Mall, but ultimately the restaurant wasn’t … well… wild about the space.

“Like many prospects, Buffalo Wild Wings was unhappy with the lack of visibility,” the Terranova Corp. said in a statement. The Miami Beach-based real estate firm represented the landlord, Oprock Boynton Fee LLC, which owns the Marriott and the Pete Rose space, according to the Sun-Sentinel.

In response, Terranova’s Andrei Pintilie suggested building a restaurant on an outparcel in front of the hotel. Now Miami-based Frontier Construction is building the 6,800-square-foot restaurant, with Buffalo signing a 10-year land lease with Oprock. [Sun-Sentinel] Christopher Cameron
