The owners of Palmetto Gardens Plaza, a 62,000-square-foot shopping center, inked three new leases.

The new tenants are T-Mobile, Cell Phone Repair and Lee Nails, which has a number of other locations throughout the state of Florida, according to GlobeSt.

Construction is underway at the shopping center — which is owned by Palmetto Park, a joint venture between DZD Palmetto and Ver-Mac Properties 8 — and is scheduled to be completed by the third quarter of 2015.

The center will be anchored by a 41,000-square-foot Wal-Mart Neighborhood Store.

“We continue to see increased interest in this site, both because of its high-profile location and because of the optimal tenant mix,” said Alan Macken, a principal of Palmetto Gardens Plaza. “With Wal-Mart Neighborhood Store offering groceries and pharmaceuticals exclusively, we attract a diverse tenant pool.” [GlobeSt]Christopher Cameron
