Now is the time to submit alternative proposals for location in West Palm Beach’s downtown known as the “tent site.”
The city recently gave the okay to developer Michael McCloskey to build an office and medical complex on the long vacant, city-owned site between Okeechobee Boulevard and Dixie Highway, according to a report in the Palm Beach Post.
McCloskey wants to buy the property for $13.5 million
The city is now obligated to put a call out for alternative plans and will follow through with advertisements this week. The proposal period lasts for 30 days. [Palm Beach Post]
