The home, located at 5869 Pinetree Drive, was built in 1926 by an unknown architect. But in the 1980s, the owners slapped a bunch of faux-art deco embellishes onto the building.

Now owners Michael and Nicole Simkins are having the Weber Studio architecture firm replace the home sans art deco designs. The new structure will also include modern conveniences like central air, hurricane windows and new appliances. [Curbed]Christopher Cameron
