Venus Williams to design Delray Beach interiors

Tennis icon Venus Williams is teaming up with developer Jorge Perez to design the interiors of a new apartment community in Delray Beach.

Williams is working with Perez on the 172-unit SofA I and 2, rising just south of Atlantic Avenue between First and Fourth avenues, according to the Sun-Sentinel.

Her Jupiter-based V*Starr Interiors will design the lobbies, two models and some of the finishes for individual units. Williams told the newspaper her goal is ‘to appeal to artists, hipsters and other creative minds.”
