Verzasca taps contractor for Bay Harbor Islands projects

Verzasca Group hired a general contractor for its boutique luxury condo developments in Bay Harbor Islands, The Real Deal has learned. 

Paul Murphy, president of Charleville Development Corp., will lead the construction for Pearl House and Le Jardin. Groundbreaking for both properties is planned for September. Murphy has worked on Regalia in Sunny Isles Beach, Marina Blue in downtown Miami and Blue Condominium in Edgewater, according to a press release.

Both Bay Harbor Islands projects were designed by Frankel Benayoun Architects. Pearl House, a seven-story, 15-unit development at 1170 101st Street is sold out. Le Jardin, at 1150 and 1160 102nd Street will have 30 residences. and is 50 percent sold, Verzasca Managing Director Tim Lobanov told TRD recently. Prices for both range from the upper $500,000s, to less than $1 million.

The team has filed for foundation and master permits. Bay Harbor Islands is undergoing rapid redevelopment, with 24 new condo developments announced in the community of low-rise residential apartment complexes and single family homes.

“Our entire company is excited to be the constructors of these beautifully designed buildings in Bay Harbor Islands which is really becoming a very fast growing neighborhood,” Murphy said in a statement.

Verzasca is also developing a 19-story condo tower in Sunny Isles Beach.
