The general counsel of Stiles has joined Greenberg Traurig’s Fort Lauderdale office. Denny O’Shea, the incoming Fort Lauderdale Downtown Development Authority’s chairman, will chair the firm’s real estate development and land use practice in Broward and Palm Beach counties.

Anthony Escobedo joined Coldwell Banker Residential in Coral Gables as a Realtor. Escobedo has a bachelor’s degree from Florida International University and a master’s degree from Nova Southeastern University.

Suffolk Construction tapped David DeFilippo as its chief learning officer. In his new role, DeFilippo will lead Suffolk’s learning, leadership and organizational development strategy. He was previously at BNY Mellon, where he established and led the company’s corporate university for more than 50,000 employees.

Patricia Lubian joined BankUnited as a commercial real estate relationship manager. Lubian’s responsibilities will include development and management of commercial real estate relationships, primarily in Miami-Dade County. She was previously senior vice president of commercial real estate at Regions Bank in Miami. – Katherine Kallergis
