Miami International Mall scores new stores, restaurants

Miami International Mall is adding several new restaurants and shops, including eateries Café Latino and Pizzeria Rise Pies, and retailers Allegra, Tea Gallery and Vans, the Doral shopping center announced on Tuesday.

Also, the teen clothing brand Justice and Color Me Mine pottery studio are relocating within the mall in the next few months, according to Miami International Mall, which is owned by Simon Property Group.  

The openings are scheduled for early next year. The Cuban Restaurant Café Latino will make its debut at Miami International Mall with a 758-square-foot spot in February of 2016. Pizzeria Rise Pies will launch its 2,255 square-foot eatery in March 2016. Allegra will open its 1,982-square-foot women’s fashion store sometime next year, as will Tea Gallery, a tea specialty store, which will open a kiosk in December of 2016. And Vans will open a 3,044-square-foot shop in February of 2016.

Other tenants at the 1-million-square foot mall include Macy’s, jcpenney,  Kohl’s, Sears, H&M and 140 other fashion brands. The mall also features 22 eateries, including BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse and The Knife. — Ina Cordle
