Douglas Elliman to open Fort Lauderdale Beach office

Douglas Elliman is opening its second Fort Lauderdale office on Monday, this time at the Ritz-Carlton Fort Lauderdale Beach. 

Elliman will open in a ground floor space in the lobby of the Ritz, at 1 North Fort Lauderdale Beach Boulevard. From that office, Dan Teixeira, vice president of business development for Douglas Elliman Florida, will oversee the sales of luxury developments that include 33 Intracoastal, the Wave and the Residences at the Ritz-Carlton, according to a press release.

Fort Lauderdale Beach has seen a bevy of new developments this cycle. About half of all new condo construction in that market has been presold, according to a February update of the RelatedISG Miami Report – Fort Lauderdale Edition. And new construction is valued at $1.5 billion.

Last year, Elliman opened an office in Fort Lauderdale at 450 East Las Olas Boulevard. Nearby, commercial brokerage Cushman & Wakefield expanded to Broward last month when it opened in Fort Lauderdale, at 515 East Las Olas Boulevard. – Katherine Kallergis
