HES Group has brought on New York-based Hospitality House to program the food and beverage for the Triptych Miami Design District, a mixed-use project slated to open in 2018.

Steven Kamali of Hospitality House will select operators for the hotel’s 38,000 square feet of culinary venues, HES announced on Monday. The hotel will be branded as part of Hilton’s Curio Collection.

Triptych’s food and beverage component will occupy the hotel’s seventh and eighth floors, as well as the rooftop. Included in that is a signature restaurant, grand ballroom and a rooftop bar and lounge, according to a press release.

Triptych, a 530,000-square-foot mixed-use project, is planned for 3601 North Miami Avenue at the intersection of Midtown Miami and Miami’s Design District, and close to Wynwood.

Hospitality House works with industry-focused private equity firms, real estate investment trusts, hotel brands, and developers. In New York, the company has handled food and beverage for the Hudson Yards Equinox Hotel, 1 Hotel, and the Baccarat Hotel, according to the release.

Triptych’s 20-story hotel will include 296 rooms and suites and 40,000 square feet of meeting and function space. The hotel will also have a fitness center, gallery space and a mechanical parking system that can hold up to 400 vehicles. On the ground floor and second floor, Triptych will feature 40,000 square feet of retail space, and floors three to six will have 70,000 square feet of office space in a shared concept style, according to a release. – Katherine Kallergis
