Construction has started on a five-story waterfront condominium called 33 Intracoastal at the Coral Ridge Country Club in Fort Lauderdale.

So far, six of the seven pre-construction buyers of units at the condominium have been owners of single-family homes at the Coral Ridge Country Club, Dan Teixeira, sales director of the project, told the Sun-Sentinel. Teixeira also told the newspaper that construction of the 11-unit condo building should conclude by the first quarter of 2017 instead of late this year, as originally expected. Work crews have razed a building at the site to make way for 33 Intracoastal.
