Palm Beach condominium goes for $10.225 million

A condominium in Palm Beach with an ocean view sold for $10.225 million.

An unidentified buyer purchased Unit S-44 at the Two North Breakers Row condo building  in Palm Beach, according to preliminary information posted on the website of the office of the Palm Beach County Clerk.

The property has 3,761 square feet of living space and comes with a cabana beside a swimming pool.

Broker Lawrence Moens represented the buyer and the seller. He listed the condo for sale in August 2014 with an asking price of $12.5 million before lowering the ask to $11.5 million.

The late philanthropist Helen A. Bernstein had resided in the Palm Beach condo. She died in July 2014.

The seller is the estate of her second husband, Harold P. Bernstein. He had purchased the Two North Breakers Row unit in 1995 for $3.6 million. His son Gene Bernstein is listed as trustee of the estate. [Palm Beach Daily News] — Mike Seemuth
