NFL team owner tackles a townhouse in Palm Beach

A co-owner of the Minnesota Vikings professional football team scored a lakefront townhouse in Palm Beach for a little under $7 million.

Vikings co-owner Mark Wilf paid $6.975 million for one of two lakefront townhouses in a 15-unit complex at 310 Atlantic Avenue. The townhouse has 5,658 square feet of living space indoors and outdoors.

Wilf, who serves as president of the National Football League (NFL) franchise, and his wife, Jane, reportedly are frequent winter-season visitors to Palm Beach.

Wilf, an attorney, bought the lakefront townhouse from Peter W. May and his wife, Leni, in an off-market transaction. Lawrence Moens of brokerage Lawrence A. Moens Associates represented the sellers. [Palm Beach Daily News] — Mike Seemuth
