Online real estate marketing platform Ten-X ranked Broward County as the best single-family home market among U.S. metropolitan areas in the third quarter.

Ten-X, formerly known as Auction.com, reported that the rest of the nation’s top five single-family home markets in the July-September period were Palm Beach County, the Tampa Bay area, Orlando and Las Vegas. The Miami area ranked ninth and Jacksonville tenth.

Single-family home prices in Broward are now the highest since 2007 but still 17.6 percent below the previous peak level, Ten-X said.

“Florida’s housing market continues to set the pace for the nation, with five of the top 10 metros on our report,” said Ten-X executive vice president Rick Sharga told the Daily Business Review.
