The 6,120-square-foot house features a four-car garage, wine vault, movie theater, chef’s kitchen and pool. The asking price breaks down to $817 per square foot for the four-bedroom, two-story home, which was built in 2013.

Records show the Perricones paid nearly $1.4 million for the 13,000-square-foot property in 2002. Steven Perricone opened his Italian restaurant, Perricone’s Marketplace & Cafe in 1995, and was a partner in Cena by Michy (which closed earlier this year) and Sullivan Street Bakery, according to a Miami Herald article. The latter two restaurants are minutes away from his Belle Meade Island home.

The Perricones’ home is in Miami’s Upper East Side neighborhood, east of Biscayne Boulevard. Four properties are on the market on the island, including 7301 Belle Meade Island Drive that’s listed for nearly $6.7 million or $869 a foot. In terms of land opportunities, the two contiguous lots at 1125 and 1133 Belle Meade Island Drive are asking a combined $4.41 million, which breaks down to about $173 per square foot.
