On the scene at Downtown Doral’s broker golf outing: PHOTOS

For some brokers, the best time to close a deal is while swinging on the fairways. The sales agents for Codina Partners’ Downtown Doral development did just that last week at the Trump National Doral Golf Club, where they held a golf tournament as part of their marketing efforts for the 120-acre project.

More than 60 agents attended the tournament to network, talk shop about Downtown Doral’s series of condo buildings and, perhaps most importantly, show off their golf game. The day’s activities were hosted by Fortune International Realty and ISG, which are handling sales for Downtown Doral.

Codina recently completed 5300 Paseo, the second of several planned condo towers that’s nearly sold out. The first, 5252 Paseo, was completed in February, and the third, 5350 Park, is in the preconstruction phase after launching sales in July.

Plans for the $1 billion Downtown Doral development as a whole call for 70 retail and restaurant tenants including Publix, 2,840 residences composed of condos and townhomes, and nearly 1 million square feet of office space. The project is being built in phases over Doral’s old Koger Office Park near the Palmetto Expressway. — Sean Stewart-Muniz
