Rochette founded Barclay’s in 2003. The firm focuses on luxury residential and commercial real estate in Miami Beach, downtown Miami, Brickell, Sunny Isles Beach, Surfside and other areas of South Florida, according to a press release.

Compass launched in South Florida when it opened an office at 605 Lincoln Road in August 2015. Led in Florida by Beth Butler, the brokerage is up to 65 agents and nearly $300 million in listings. This year, Compass has recruited agents like Dorottya Barna, who left Metro 1, Scott Voelker and Jon Batchelor Jr., and Melissa Rubin, a former partner at Platinum Properties International. In June, it acquired former Fortune International Realty team The Meyer Group.

The firm also has locations in New York City, Washington D.C., Boston, Cambridge, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Santa Barbara, Aspen, and the Hamptons. – Katherine Kallergis
