On the scene at Turnberry Ocean Club’s cocktail event: PHOTOS

Hoping to drum up interest during the winter season, Turnberry Associates partnered up with designer Stephen G. to host a cocktail party at the developer’s Turnberry Ocean Club sales gallery in Sunny Isles Beach.

Dozens of agents, along with members of the design, development and sales team showed up to the gallery for a night of schmoozing, champagne and touring Turnberry Ocean Club’s model unit, which was designed by Steven G’s firm. Among the attendees were Turnberry CEO Jeff Soffer, Paramount Miami Worldcenter’s Director of Sales Michael Sadov, and Astral Media co-founder Ian Greenberg.

Located at 18501 Collins Avenue, the planned 54-story tower broke ground last month and is expected to open its doors sometime in 2018. It will house 154 units ranging in size from three to four bedrooms, with asking prices starting at $4 million.

So far, 40 percent of its units have sold, according to a recent development survey from brokerage ISG. The developer launched sales in October 2014 and has since hired One Sotheby’s International Realty to market the project. — Sean Stewart-Muniz and Katherine Kallergis
