November home sales in PB County beat last year

Sales of single-family homes and townhouses and condos in Palm Beach County rose at single-digit percentage rates in November.

Single-family homes and November sales of single-family homes in Palm Beach County rose 6.4 percent from last year.

The Realtors also reported that November sales of townhouses and condos in Palm Beach County rose at a faster 8.3 percent rate, compared to last year.

Palm Beach County’s median sale price for single-family homes was $300,000 in November, up from 289,000 in the same month last year.

Sellers closed 1,225 sales of single-family homes in Palm Beach County during November, up from 1,151 during November 2015. But new pending sales in November rose slightly to 1,442 from 1,440 in the same month last year.

Sellers of townhouses and condos closed 905 sales in Palm Beach County during November, up from 836 in November 2015. New pending sales in November rose 1.7 percent from last year to 1,068.

The median sale price of townhouses and condos in Palm Beach County during November rose to $160,000 from $139,000 last year.
