Check out the concrete pour for Residences by Armani/Casa: VIDEO

More than 1,400 concrete trucks poured 13,200 cubic yards of concrete over 30 hours to lay the foundation for Residences at Armani/Casa in Sunny Isles Beach.

Led by Coastal Construction Group’s Coastal Condominiums, last weekend’s concrete pour also involved 2,000 tons of reinforcing steel. It was completed by 180 workers, according to a release.

Residences by Armani/Casa, a 56-story, 308-unit tower developed by Dezer Development and the Related Group, represents Armani Casa’s first branded real estate project in the United States.

Units, ranging in size from 1,350 square feet to 4,160 square feet, are priced from $2 million to more than $15 million.

When completed in 2019, the tower at 18975 Collins Avenue will feature more than 35,000 square feet of amenities, including a lounge, restaurant, cigar room, wine cellar, swimming pool, fitness center, spa, movie theater and clubroom.

Last year, the developers closed on a $305 million construction loan.  Ina Cordle and Alistair Gardiner
