A boutique project in Bay Harbor Islands launched sales at a rooftop cocktail party last week.

Allure Development hosted the event at The Club in Bay Harbor Islands for Sophie, a 26-unit, seven-story development planned for 1045 92nd Street. It scored approvals last year.

Frankel Benayoun Architects has designed the project, which includes an interior atrium breezeway that will rise from the third floor to the rooftop deck and becomes apparent within the two-story lobby which is covered by glass roof. Sophie’s amenities will include a rooftop swimming pool, gym, spa and kids playroom, beach club membership, and transportation to the beach.

A number of boutique condo projects are in the pipeline for Bay Harbor Islands, including Kasa Bay Harbor, a seven-story, nine-unit project at 1125 97th Street; Bijou Bay Harbor, a nine-story, 41-unit project at 9521 East Bay Harbor Drive; Le Jardin Residences and Pearl House. The development site of a planned 30-unit building called Akua hit the market last month for $11 million. – Katherine Kallergis
