On the scene at TRD’s Broward Real Estate Showcase & Forum: PHOTOS

About 2,000 attendees flocked to The Real Deal’s Third Annual Broward Real Estate Showcase & Forum on Thursday to hear industry experts discuss the state of South Florida’s markets, and check out a showcase filled with new developments, lenders, and other exhibitors.

The event, held at the Design Center of the Americas in Dania Beach, featured three panels covering the economics of development in South Florida amid a new administration and continuing global market fluctuation; the future of the residential market in Broward; and a look at how technology – including access to market data – is transforming the South Florida real estate industry. Louise Sunshine, developers Shahab Karmely, Jimmy Tate and Jerry Hollo, brokers and agents Mike Pappas, Paula Silberberg, Peggy Fucci and Tim Elmes; and tech experts Richard Sarkis, Beth Butler and Diego Saavedra participated in the panels.
