Biscayne Beach opens in Edgewater: PHOTOS
Party included performances by DJ YSL, Patrick & The Swayzes, cocktails and hors d'oeuvres
The developers of Biscayne Beach hosted hundreds of Miami real estate agents, brokers and buyers at the opening of the 391-unit, 52-story condo tower last week.
Two Roads Development and New York-based GTIS Partners completed the Edgewater high-rise last month at 99 percent sold. The party included performances by DJ YSL, Patrick & The Swayzes, beach-themed cocktails and hors d’oeuvres.
The building features a private beach club overlooking the bay, cabanas, a pool, restaurant and bar; a library and billiards room, summer kitchen and lounge area, gym and full service spa. Thom Filicia, known for “Queer Eye for the Straight Guy,” designed the interiors.
Prices ranged from $400,000 to $9 million for one-, two- and three-bedroom condos, townhouse-style units and two-story upper penthouses with private pools and garden terraces. Two penthouses and a beach house unit are left, priced from about $1.6 million to $9.4 million. Cervera Real Estate handled sales for the project, which launched about four years ago.
Buyers hail from the U.S., Venezuela, Brazil, Argentina, Mexico, Colombia, Italy, Kuwait, France, Turkey and Spain.
Other towers planned for Edgewater include Two Roads’ Elysee Miami, the Related Group’s 11-acre Paraiso complex and OKO Group Missoni Baia. – Katherine Kallergis
