An Argentine actress and singer and her film director husband now have a place to call home in Miami.

Sofía Reca, known for her work on the Disney Channel Latin America, and Tomás Yankelevich, the newly minted executive vice president and chief content officer of Turner Latin America, paid $5.7 million for townhouse 7 at the beachfront Ocean 7 in Surfside, property records show.

Reca is reportedly recording her debut album in Miami, and Yankelevich left Viacom’s Telefe, an Argentine television network, earlier this year to join Turner. Under Yankelevich’s umbrella are brands like TNT, truTV and TBS, according to a press release.

The Argentine celebrity couple paid $1,405 per square foot for the five-story, four-bedroom townhouse at 9501 Collins Avenue. It features a rooftop terrace with a plunge pool and summer kitchen, designer finishes, marble flooring, a glass elevator and 10-foot ceilings, according to Douglas Elliman. Ivonn and Richard Goihman of the brokerage’s Goihman Group represented the seller, a company tied to London-based Matterhorn Capital. Redfin’s Aaron Drucker represented the buyers.

Records show Property Markets Group developed the seven-unit project in 2014 and sold it to Matterhorn for $15.2 million the same year. The Matterhorn affiliate has sold three units so far this year after hiring Shapiro Associates to design the townhomes and Steven G. and Walter Garcia to furnish them.

Reca and Yankelevich’s unit was listed for $7.25 million furnished, according to a spokesperson. The couple bought the unit unfurnished and at a nearly 28 percent discount off the asking price.
