Minto sells 60% of final phase of Sunrise development

Minto is building 123 townhouses in the final phase of Artesia, which has been in development since 2004

Minto Communities has sold 60 percent of the townhouses in the final phase of its Artesia development in Sunrise, which has been under way for 13 years.

Minto is building 123 townhouses at Artesia and expects the buyers to start occupying them this fall.

When the final phase of townhouse construction is completed, Artesia will have a total of 837 condominiums and townhouses.

The residential development Minto began developing Artesia in 2004 on a 76-acre site just north of the Sawgrass Mills shopping mall in Sunrise.

Prices for the remaining inventory of townhouses start in the $400,000s for Terrace Homes, which range in size from 1,669 square feet to 2,113 square feet.

Minto also is marketing four-story townhouses called Sky Villas, which range in size from 2,797 square feet to 3,089 square feet. Sky Villas are priced in the $500,000s.

Common-area amenities at Artesia include a two-story clubhouse with a fitness center, sauna and spa, and an indoor multi-sport court.

The clubhouse also features a sports lounge, library, business center, kitchen, and great room for hosting parties and watching movies. Next to the clubhouse is resort-style swimming pool, lap pool, tiki bar, tennis courts, and a children’s play area.
