UPDATED Nov. 16, 1:40 p.m.: University Developments, Lionheart Capital and Habitat Development unveiled new renderings of their residential and mixed-use projects in Miami, Miami Beach and Brickell.
University Bridge Residences
The developers of University Bridge Residences just released a fresh glimpse of the 492-unit condo tower near Florida International University.
The project, at 740 Southwest 109th Avenue, is geared toward college students and will have units priced from $190,000 to the high $600,000s.
Condos will range from 317 square feet to 1,634 square feet and include studios to four-bedroom units and townhouses.
The condo tower, designed by Arquitectonica, is being developed by University Developments, a partnership of Global City Developments, Podium Developments and Reichmann International. Cervera Real Estate is the exclusive sales and marketing firm. The 20-floor tower will be managed by Landmark Properties, a firm specializing in off-campus student housing.
Amenities include a resort-style pool and sundeck, a rooftop with a sunset terrace, a yoga lawn and performance stage, according to a release. A pedestrian bridge over Southwest Eighth Street will give residents access to FIU and is set to be completed by the start of the 2020-2021 academic year.
The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Miami Beach
Lionheart Capital just released a sneak peek of one of its penthouse collections planned for its 7.5-acre luxury condo project at 4701 Meridian Avenue in Miami Beach.
Miami-based Doo Architecture designed the four-bedroom, seven-bathroom penthouse suite with three living areas and panoramic views facing the lake, according to a release.
Once completed later this year, the Ritz-Carlton Residences, Miami Beach will have 111 condo residences and 15 single-family villas. Douglas Elliman is handling sales of the units, ranging in price from $2 million to more than $40 million.
The Ritz development will feature gardens, pools and 36 private boat slips. Shared amenities will include a residential art studio, a rooftop pool deck with private cabanas and a gourmet restaurant.
Habitat Development released new renderings of Smart Brickell, a mixed-use development that will give residents electric car parking, Amazon Echo devices, and smart home features.
The development, designed by Hernando Carrillo, will feature 170 condos and 150 hotel rooms in three towers. The ground floor of Smart Brickell will also offer commercial space with plans to open “healthy dining” retailers, according to a release.
Condo units are asking from the low $300,000s to the high $400,000s and range from 558 square feet to 1,117 square feet. The first tower is 35 percent sold and the second tower will begin sales in the first quarter of 2018, according to a release.
Habitat Development paid $22 million for the 1.23-acre development site on Southwest Ninth Street between Second and Third Avenues in Miami.
Correction: A previous version of this story showed that Smart Brickell would offer residents Tesla batteries. The project is no longer offering them, according to a spokesperson.
