Movers & Shakers: Metro 1 promotes Andres Nava & more

Hires and promotions at One Sotheby’s, Plaza, Cervera

Metro 1 just promoted Andres Nava to vice president of commercial leasing.

Nava, a commercial broker who’s worked for Metro 1 since 2013, has completed more than 100 deals totaling 200,000 square feet and more than $100 million, according to the firm. He arranged Istituto Marangoni’s $13.5 million lease in the Miami Design District last year, and is also overseeing leasing for Magic City. His team includes Jeannie Kelly, Mateo Romeo and Bernadita Banfi.

Ana Lopez de Quintana and Yovani Garcia were both promoted at Cervera Real Estate. Lopez de Quintana is now executive vice president of sales and operations, and Garcia is sales director of the downtown Miami district.

One Sotheby’s International Realty brought on Victoria Fisher and Juan Aluma as agents from Coldwell Banker and Berkshire Hathaway, respectively. Fisher and Aluma’s team focus on luxury and commercial real estate in Miami-Dade and Broward counties.

A few months after joining Douglas Elliman, Vanessa Maggi left for Coldwell Banker’s Miami Beach office. She was previously with Keller Williams.

Apollo Bank brought on Eugene Font as senior vice president, commercial lending officer. He was previously senior vice president of TotalBank’s corporate lending department.

Carlton Fields hired three attorneys from Isicoff, Ragatz & Koenigsberg. Jay Koenigsberg, Michele Softness and Matthew Jacobson joined the law firm’s real estate and commercial finance practice group.

Plaza Construction hired Todd Fultz to lead a new office in Central Florida as a managing director. He was previously vice president of the Central Florida region for Manhattan Construction.
