Seller of Hampton hotel in Fort Myers checks out for $13.9M

Michigan-based HRC Hotels bought the 102-room Hampton Inn for about $136,000 per room

A 102-room Hampton Inn & Suites in Fort Myers sold for $13.9 million, or about $136,000 per room.

East Lansing, Michigan-based HRC Hotels LLC bought the hotel at 4350 Executive Circle in Fort Myers from St. Louis-based NHR Investments.

HRC owns 20 select-service hotels in six states, including another Hampton Inn in Clearwater, the company’s only other Florida property. The Michigan-based company is planning to expand its hotel portfolio over the next three years.

Hilton Hotels Corp. has honored the Hampton Inn & Suites Fort Myers-Colonial Boulevard with its Lighthouse Award, ranking the property among the top five percent of hotels in the Hampton chain for accommodations, service and quality.
