Jackson Hall | Miami Health District

Wynwood Yard chef and founder Della Heiman is taking her talents to the Miami Health District.

Heiman, who’s also planning a location in North Beach, signed a 10,000-square-foot lease for a healthy food hall concept called Jackson Hall at 1050 Northwest 14th Street. John Ellis and Aaron Labovitz of RKF represented Heiman and her business partner Ken Lyon, and the landlord, Rockpoint Group.

Jackson Hall is slated to open in March. Heiman and Lyon signed a long-term lease with extension options, Ellis said. He declined to provide rents or other terms of the deal, but said asking rent is $60 per square foot triple net for the 7,000 square feet available on the first floor, and $45 per square foot triple net for the 3,000 square feet available on the second floor, he said.

Other tenants at the building, Civica Center, include Salsa Fiesta, Dunkin’ Donuts, Jimmy John’s, La Estancia Argentina and Smoothie King. The nearly 36,000-square-foot building opened in 2013, according to a press release.

Full Bloom | Miami Beach

A gourmet vegan restaurant opened at the Crest Hotel Suites in Miami Beach.

Full Bloom is taking 2,500 square feet at the boutique hotel at 1670 James Avenue. The hotel is owned by Jorge Savloff and Marcelo Tenenbaum’s Blue Road. The restaurant was previously located in the Belle Isle neighborhood of Miami Beach.

Stefano Versace Gelato | Fort Lauderdale

A new gelato restaurant opened at the Galleria at Fort Lauderdale. It’s the first Fort Lauderdale location for the Pembroke Pines-based gelateria.

New additions to the Galleria include Stewart’s Restaurant, set to open in the spring, and the 15,000-square-foot Cooper’s Hawk Winery & Restaurant, which will open early next year.

Square footage and terms of Stefano Versace Gelato’s lease were not immediately available.
