Movers & Shakers: CBRE and Transwestern name new managing directors & more

Hires and promotions at Luxe Living Realty, Trez Forman, Elliman and Kaufman Lynn

CBRE promoted Scott Correale and Patty Nooney to managing directors of the firm’s Broward and Palm Beach operations, respectively.

Correale, who has been working for the brokerage since 2015, is also senior sales director for Florida. Nooney joined CBRE in 2006 and leads its asset services division in the state. They will both report to Arden Karson, senior managing director for the South Florida region.

Transwestern also promoted a new managing director from within. Thomas Kresse, previously senior vice president, is now managing director of the commercial brokerage’s Miami office. He’s worked with Ben Eisenberg and Walter Byrd’s advisory team for 18 years, focusing on industrial sales and leasing.

Nalle Grinda joined the Dora Puig team at Luxe Living Realty, Puig’s firm. Puig was ranked 10th on The Real Deal’s ranking of the top residential agents last year, based on single-family home sales with nearly $52 million in closed sales volume.

Frank White was promoted to president of Kaufman Lynn Construction from senior vice president. Mike Kaufman, president and CEO, will remain CEO.

Trez Forman Capital Group hired Scott Mehlman as a senior associate. Mehlman was previously vice president of acquisitions for Colony Hills Capital, an investment services firm in Springfield, Massachusetts. He also worked for AIC Capital and the Radco Companies. At Trez Forman, Mehlman will underwrite investments and secure new business.

Douglas Elliman tapped Laura San Jose as on-site sales director for 321 at Water’s Edge, an 11-story, 23-unit waterfront condo building under construction in Fort Lauderdale.
