Movers & Shakers: Colliers brings on VP from Franklin Street, Native Realty expands & more
Hires at BHS Miami, Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP and City National Bank
Office broker Tom Farmer joined Colliers International South Florida as a vice president of the brokerage’s office team, led by Jonathan Kingsley and Stephen Rutchik.
Farmer was previously with Franklin Street as director of office and industrial services. His assignments at Colliers will include the planned Gateway at Wynwood, a 420,000-square-foot office development by R&B Realty.
Native Realty brought on Sara Dorfman and Amanda Roy as real estate agents. Dorfman focuses on multifamily, land and office leasing, while Roy specializes in investment sales and industrial and retail leasing.
The commercial real estate firm, founded by former Metro 1 agent Jaime Sturgis, brought on Stiles veteran R. Bruce “Buzz” Smith earlier this year to focus on investment sales and corporate relocations.
Douglas Elliman promoted Realtor associate Gigi Giusti to on-site sales director for Galleria Lofts in Fort Lauderdale. Elliman took over sales of the luxury townhome development late last year. Prices at the 48-unit project start at $500,000. Giusti has worked on sales of 33 Intracoastal, The Wave on Bayshore and the Four Seasons Private Residences in Fort Lauderdale Beach.
Brown Harris Stevens Miami hired Michelle Rojas as a sales manager based in the firm’s South Miami office. Rojas, previously a market center productivity coach for Keller Williams, will oversee sales and compliance training.
Scott Flatley is now director of construction for Allen Morris Residential, a division of the Allen Morris Company. He was senior development manager at the Related Companies, where he completed more than 5 million square feet of developments.
Jonathan Z. Kurry joined Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP as a partner in Miami. Kurry was previously a shareholder at GrayRobinson and former general counsel of Turnberry. Kurry has more than 25 years of experience working with clients in development, financing, leasing, operations and real estate sales.
City National Bank hired Cary Berman as senior vice president and residential lending production manager. Berman was Florida Mortgage Market President for National Bank of Commerce.
