Construction of Palm Beach condominium reaches topped-out milestone

Prices start at $2.3 million for units at the seven-story, 30-unit condominium, 3550 South Ocean

Construction of a beachfront condominium in Palm Beach topped off at the seven-story building’s peak height.

Unit prices at the 30-unit condominium, called 3550 South Ocean, start at $2.3 million.

DDG, the developer, didn’t report the number of pre-construction sales so far. But “buyer response to 3550 South Ocean has been quite positive since the building came onto the market last year,” Howard M. Lorber, chairman of Douglas Elliman Realty LLC said in a prepared statement.

Douglas Elliman’s development marketing team is the development’s exclusive sales and marketing agent.

DDG also assembled a trio of firms to design the condominium: GarciaStromberg GSFstudios of Palm Beach, Kobi Karp Architecture of Miami and Campalimaud of New York. KAST Construction is the project’s general contractor.
