Cosmetics executives Richard Ferretti and James Gager closed on a penthouse at developer Jason Halpern’s Three Hundred Collins condo building in Miami Beach, property records show.

Ferretti is the global creative director for Bobbi Brown Cosmetics, and his husband, James Gager, is a former global creative director for MAC Cosmetics and Jo Malone. Both have ties to Estée Lauder Companies, which owns Bobbi Brown Cosmetics. Gager was recently brought on by Estée Lauder to become its senior vice president and creative director.

The power couple paid $5.8 million, or $1,845 per square foot, for the 3,143-square-foot unit.

Douglas Elliman’s Dina Goldentayer and Sladja Stantic handled sales of the building for Halpern’s JMH Development. Goldentayer said two units remain at the development, including a second 2,700-square-foot penthouse asking $5.3 million.

Darryl Fox of One Sotheby’s International Realty brought the buyers. The penthouse unit was listed for $6.45 million, and features a wraparound terrace with views of the ocean and downtown Miami. Amenities at the building include a concierge, fitness center, rooftop deck with cabanas and a 75-foot pool.

The five-story building at 300 Collins Avenue was completed in June. Other buyers include chef Myles Chefetz, the celebrity restaurateur behind Prime 112 and Prime Italian, both in the South-of-Fifth neighborhood of Miami Beach.
