SunTrust resigns at 777 Brickell

SunTrust Bank is staying in Miami’s Brickell neighborhood.

The bank just renewed its lease at 777 Brickell Avenue for an additional 10 years. The deal covers about 25,000 square feet in the office tower, including a new, 2,810-square-foot lobby bank branch within the building’s ground-floor retail space.

SunTrust takes up 22,000 square feet of office space on the ninth floor, and has anchored the building since it was completed in 1978.

Cushman & Wakefield’s Andrew Trench and Brian Gale represented the landlord, Alliance RE Holdings. Jason Donald, Tony Jones and Ryan Levy worked with SunTrust’s Thomas Crociata to negotiate the lease on behalf of SunTrust.

Co-working concept fills up A&E District warehouse

A new shared workspace concept is coming to Miami’s Arts & Entertainment District.

Ampersand Studios just inked a 21,450-square-foot lease at 31 Northeast 17th Street, across the street from Vice City Bean coffee shop. The lease takes up the entire warehouse. Central Commercial R.E. represented the tenant.

Records show Prince Albert LLC, controlled by the Kluger family partnership, owns the two-story building.

The co-working firm, founded by Yann Henric and Matthew Giles, is slated to open later this fall. The space will also provide production facilities to lure in film and photography members.

Valley Forge Fabrics inks 20,000 sf lease in Pompano Beach

Fabric product manufacturer Valley Forge Fabrics just inked a 19,350-square-foot lease at 1750 Northwest 15th Avenue at the Pompano Center of Commerce.

The company specializes in fabrics for the hospitality and lodging industries, according to its website.

Thomas Viscount of Butters Group represented the tenant. Thomas J. Hotz of Butters Realty & Management represented landlord, Pompano Center of Commerce LLC, which is tied to Prologis. 

AMB, along with co-developer Butters Group, developed the business park dubbed the Pompano Center of Commerce before AMB was bought out by Prologis in 2011.
