Personal injury attorney Lewis S. “Mike” Eidson and Dr. Margaret Eidson just sold their waterfront Coconut Grove home to Jeffrey and Nadine Nunberg for $12.4 million, property records show.

Eidson, a partner at Colson Hicks Eidson, sold the five-bedroom, 9,219-square-foot mansion at 3307 Devon Court. The buyer, Jeffrey Nunberg, is CEO of Integrated Security Systems, a multi-state systems integrator of security and life safety systems.

The Hughes Cove estate features more than 4,500 square feet of covered terraces, 376 feet of bay frontage, a pool, dock and fountains, according to the listing. The Eidsons paid $1.6 million for the property in 2002. It was developed in 2004, according to property records.

Eidson has been trying to renovate the nearby Coconut Grove Playhouse. He made an offer to build a new 700-seat theater that would cost at least $48 million, in addition to $20 million in bond money earmarked by Miami-Dade County for the project.

The couple’s neighbors include Related Group founder Jorge Pérez. Earlier this year, a mansion at 3310 Devon Court, owned by N.J. Nicholas Jr., former CEO of Time Warner, hit the market for $16.9 million.
