The Underline breaks ground

The first portion of the planned $120 million linear park, set to stretch roughly 10 miles underneath the Metrorail from the Dadeland South Station to the Brickell Station, broke ground on Thursday.

Swire Properties Vice President Chris Gandolfo, Friends of the Underline founder Meg Daly, and developers David Martin of Terra and Pinnacle Housing Group’s Louis Wolfson were among the party’s attendees.

The project’s largest private donor to date is Swire, with a $600,000 commitment to the Underline’s Brickell Backyard segment. Other contributors include developers Pinnacle, 13th Floor Investments and the Adler Group.

Compson Associates’ Tower 155 tops off

One of Boca Raton’s newest condo towers just topped off.

Compson Associates’ Tower 155, a 128-unit project at 155 East Boca Raton Road, is expected to be completed in the summer of 2019.

The topping off ceremony included Compson Associates’ Carl Klepper Jr., team members from its contractor Kaufman Lynn Construction and Boca Raton political heads. Plans call for a mix of one-, two- and three-bedroom condos, along with four, two-story townhomes. Prices will range from $570,000 to a little more than $1.5 million.
